Email customer support software
Customer email becomes threaded conversations in the shared inbox, so a request sent to one address can be assigned, discussed internally and tracked as a ticket instead of living in one person's mailbox.
Hi, my order 4821 was meant to arrive yesterday. Where is it?
Hello Mercy, I have your order open. Checking with the courier now.
What the Email channel does today.
- Inbound email delivered by webhook and threaded by conversation
- Replies sent through your Resend account
- Tickets created from email with category and priority
- Customer satisfaction replies handled by email
- Campaign sends with delivery tracking
Requirements before you connect.
- A Resend account, API key and verified sender address
- An inbound email service that forwards messages to your KitoDesk webhook
From connection to conversation.
Connect
Add your Resend key and sender address, then point your inbound email service at the KitoDesk webhook.
Thread
Replies and follow-ups stay in the same conversation, so nothing is split across mailboxes.
Assign
Route the thread to a person or team and add private notes for colleagues.
Resolve
Close the conversation or open a ticket when it needs tracking to an outcome.
Limits and what is planned
- Direct Gmail and Outlook mailbox sync is planned and is not available yet.
About Email on KitoDesk.
Can we connect our existing Gmail or Outlook mailbox?
Not directly yet. Mailbox sync for Gmail and Outlook is planned. Today inbound email arrives through a webhook from an inbound email service.
Does email create tickets?
Yes. An email conversation can become a ticket with a category, priority and due time.
Retire the shared mailbox password.
Tell us which addresses your team monitors. We will show them as assigned, tracked conversations instead of a shared login.
- Built around your own workflow
- Security and rollout questions answered
- No obligation
Your order 4821 is out for delivery today before 5pm. I have sent the tracking link to your phone. Anything else I can help with?
